Hello my name is Steve Follick and I have been an estimator for Clarke Contractors since 2010. After spending 14 years in the Army, 9 of those years as being a Paratrooper stationed in Seattle, Washington, I went around and built hotels before entering the restoration industry. In my time with Clarke Contractors I have earned certifications by the Institute of Inspection Cleaning and Restoration Certification in Water Restoration, Odor Restoration, Fire Restoration and Smoke Restoration.
In addition to these certifications I am certified in Insurance Subrogation Levels 1 &2, as well as being a certified lead renovator through the Environmental Protection Agency. These certifications have enhanced my skills working in the insurance restoration industry and have allowed me to gain an invaluable amount of additional knowledge and skills.
Restoration kind of ties into to my fascination with storms, I have been a storm nut for as long as I can remember. When I was 5 years old I looked out the window and seen a weird cloud. When I said something to my mother, she looked out the window, grabbed me and my sister and headed towards the cellar. She stopped just long enough to call my father who owned a store / garage at the other side of town. My father’s store took a direct hit, but he had enough time to get everybody to safety. From that time on I have been fascinated with spring storms.
I have 3 grown children and like me, my oldest is also a paratrooper. I am engaged and my fiance has 2 children. When not at Clarke Contractors I enjoy watching the Cincinnati Reds play baseball.
